This calendar is a love letter to Los Angeles, celebrating the city’s “mundane absurdity” and preserving local character amid rapid change It’s both an art piece and a calendar.

This 12‑month art wall calendar features original paintings of under‑appreciated, everyday Los Angeles spots — from strip malls in Highland Park to flower shops in Eagle Rock, hand‑painted signs, graffiti, and local storefronts. Each month highlights a different location, with traditional holidays plus unique “Unknown Landmarks” affirmations and made‑up holidays.

Gordon Henderson (Nib Geebles) and Abira Ali are carrying on the 40 year tradition blending visual storytelling with playful, locally inspired messages.
